Hall 1, with over 800 m2 of production space, is being completely renovated. In addition to a new, heat-insulating façade, the hall has received new rolling doors, energy-saving LED lighting and a new industrial floor.

On 30.10.2018, the long-standing managing director Jürgen Nichts will go into well-deserved retirement. The new managing directors as of 01.11.2018 are the brothers Christian and Thomas Nichts.

the quality brand PEKI celebrates its 80th anniversary. Founded in 1937 by Peter Kirsten, the family business is now run by the 3rd generation. Customers in 60 countries on 5 continents trust in PEKI vehicles and systems for events.

PEKI vehicles and systems are used for events in over 50 countries on 4 continents. Whether it’s the Football or Rugby World Cup, the Olympic Games, Tour de France, open airs, festivals, Oktoberfests, city festivals or parties – people all over the world celebrate with us.

At the end of the year, we acquire the land and hall of a direct neighbour. The warehouse and logistics for event systems move into the new hall for the 2015 season. There is now sufficient assembly, storage and commissioning space on an area of just under 500 m2.

the PEKI brand turns 75. For more than 7 decades, the name PEKI has stood for high-quality products, top quality and good service.

PEKI needs more production space. For this reason, the sister company KLW Karosserie-Lackierwerk-Werbetechnik GmbH is relocating from the Osburg site to a new facility in the Ottostraße industrial estate in Trier. In addition to 10,000 m2 of land, the new location has a new administration building, two new paint booths and a new sandblasting derusting facility. A modern repair facility in the industrial area of Trier-Zewen, 5 km away, rounds off the programme.

we install a new Arizona flatbed UV direct printer from the market leader OCE Canon in a purpose-built air-humidified production room for direct kraftfast printing on a wide range of board materials.

we are the exclusive supplier of the beverage sales and refrigerated trailers of the beer suppliers Carlsberg/Feldschlösschen/Stiegl for the UEFA EURO 2008 in Austria and Switzerland.

PEKI vehicles are in use in over 30 countries on 4 continents. Whether Oktoberfest in Munich, beer festival in Moscow, U2 concert in Dublin, Queen’s Day in Amsterdam, Sting concert in Florence, beach party in Tel Aviv, American Independence Day in Indianapolis, carnival in French Guyana, Roskilde Festival in Denmark or anniversary of the founding of the Chinese state in Shanghai, people all over the world celebrate festivals with us.

the advertising technology division is defined as an independent profit centre and adapted in terms of space, personnel and machinery to the constantly growing demand from home and abroad.

a new final assembly hall for beverage sales and refrigerated trailers will be put into operation in January. Up to 16 vehicles can be final assembled in parallel on an area of 1000 m2.

Christian Nichts joins the management team as the overall responsible for our worldwide export activities after training, studying and working as an export manager for an industrial company.

the PEKI brand celebrates its 60th birthday. A new exhibition hall for beverage sales and refrigerated trailers is inaugurated, enabling year-round product presentation regardless of the weather.

the service activities are bundled in an independent company. KLW GmbH is founded as a full-service company for beverage vehicles and today operates 2 state-of-the-art facilities in Trier and Osburg.

the new plant in Osburg, approx. 20 km from Trier, is acquired, modernised and structurally expanded. Due to the central geographical location in the four-country corner with Luxembourg, France and Belgium, we have direct access to the most important European transport connections.

the 200th beverage sales trailer is handed over to a renowned German brewery on the occasion of the international trade fair Brau Nürnberg.

The Nichts family takes over all shares in the business. 9 years later, PEKI Karosserie- und Fahrzeugtechnik is founded and takes over all brand rights. Thomas Nichts joins Jürgen Nichts on the management board.

the gradual specialisation in vehicles for the brewing and beverage industry begins. The range now includes beverage sales, refrigeration and transport vehicles.

Jürgen Nichts, the son-in-law and current managing director, joins the company as a partner. In the same year, the first beverage superstructures for the local Coca-Cola bottling plant and, in 1967, the first sales trailer are manufactured.
